Day 1: Arrive in Doha

Get the day off to a great start with a visit to the Msheireb Enrichment Centre on the Corniche for a fascinating insight into Qatar’s past, present and future development - a superb introduction to the country’s culture and heritage.
Keep the cultural theme going. Marvel at the magnificent Mughal and Saffavid collections on display at the Museum of Islamic Art.

Enjoy a relaxing ‘hop on, hop off’ city tour by double decker bus, taking in all the major sights of Doha. Take time to stop off along the route, perhaps enjoying a leisurely lunch by the marina on The Pearl-Qatar.
Take a dhow cruise on Doha Bay and enjoy panoramic views of the Corniche and spectacular high rise towers.
Experience the atmosphere and lively street life at Souq Waqif, pick up some bargain souvenirs such as jewellery, clothing and spices, then relax over a memorable Middle Eastern dining experience at one of the area’s many restaurants.

Day 2: Doha

Breakfast at hotel
Take a trip outside Doha, perhaps to the Camel Races at Al Shahaniya, 20 kilometres west of the capital, then onward to the Zikrit Peninsula, with its unspoiled beaches and spectacular wind-carved rock formations.
Head northward along the west coast to the UNESCO listed site of Al Zubarah, with its imposing fort and archaeological site that evoke echoes of Qatar’s fascinating but turbulent history.

Al Zubarah

Return to Doha via the east coast, visiting Al Thakira Mangroves and Al Khor city en route.
After a busy day, unwind by the Poolside or at one of Doha’s many Luxury Spas.
Spend the evening at Katara Cultural Village. Take in the sights, entertainment and cultural offerings, then round off your day with a delicious dinner of Arabic delicacies.

Day 3: Doha

Take advantage of the cool of the morning to enjoy a round of golf at Doha Golf Club, home of the European PGA Qatar Masters tournament

Set off southward from Doha, stopping for a visit to Souq Waqif Al Wakra, then onward to Sealine, starting point for an evening Desert Safari through the dunes to Khor Al Adaid, the Inland Sea.
Enjoy the spectacular desert sunset followed by a traditional barbeque banquet and overnight camping under the stars at your tour operator’s well-appointed Bedouin-style encampment.
