TRIP TO REUNION ISLANDS

DAY 01 : ARRIVAL / WEST COAST

• Arrival in Reunion island by your flight.
• Meet & greet of your driver at the airport. Then, road to your hotel located in the West Coast.
• Check-in at your hotel. Free time.
• Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

DAY 02 : VOLCANO AND WILD SOUTH

• Breakfast at your hotel.
• Pick-up by your driver at 7am and road to the active volcano of Le Piton de La Fournaise (2hrs from the West Coast).

• On the road, stopover at the Commerson’s crater, the viewpoint of Le Nez de Bœuf and of course, the famous Plaine des Sables. Then, discovery of the viewpoint of Le Pas de Bellecombe (view depending on weather conditions). After taking some pictures and having some information about the volcano, road to the Wild South.

• Lunch in a creole restaurant in Sainte-Rose.
• Discovery of the famous (and mysterious) Church « Notre Dame des Laves », the lava flows at Le Grand Brulé (including the 2007), the Bathing Pool of Manapany-Les-Bains and Grand Anse : multiple photo stops inside the deep nature of Reunion ! Road back to your hotel around 4pm.

• Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

DAY 03 : SALAZIE & EAST COAST

• Breakfast at your hotel.
• Pick-up by your driver at 8.30am and road to the East Coast of Reunion island. On the road, visit of one of the jewels of Reunion, the Vanilla Bourbon Ile de La Réunion at LA VANILLERAIE in Ste-Suzanne.

• Then, road to one of the three Cirque of Reunion island : SALAZIE, where you will find numerous waterfalls, a deep nature and thousand meters mountains… First stopover at the famous waterfall of Le « Voile de La Mariée » (Wedding Veil) and free time in the traditional creole village of Hell Bourg (one of the most Beautiful village of France).
• Lunch in a creole restaurant. Road back to your hotel around 5.30pm.

• Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

DAY 04 : HELICOPTER FLIGHT & SUNSET CRUISE

• Breakfast at your hotel.
• Pick up at your hotel around 7am and road for your helicopter flight:- During 45 minutes, you will be able to have a unique view of the most beautiful landscapes of the island : the 3 cirques of Salazie, Mafate, Cilaos, the waterfall-canyon of Le Trou de Fer, the active Volcano of Le Piton de La Fournaise and of course, the lagoon. At the end of your flight, drop off at your hotel. Free time. NB : please bring your passport in order to board the helicopter.

• At 4pm, pick-up by your driver and transfer to the marina of Saint-Gilles for your sunset cruise with LE GRAND BLEU on the Indian ocean. During 1.5 hours, you will live a relaxing experience and have a unique view of Reunion from the Ocean. A small aperitif will be served on board. After your cruise, road back to your hotel at 6.30pm.

• Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

DAY 05 : CILAOS & LA SAGA DU RHUM

• Breakfast at your hotel.
• Pick-up by your driver at 8am and road to the one the three cirques of Reunion, Cilaos. To get there, you will take the famous 400 curves road (« Route aux 400 virages) (1.30hrs to 1.45hrs drive to go from Saint-Gilles)
• Stopover at La Roche Merveilleuse (360° view point on the village of Cilaos and the highest point of Reunion : Le Piton des Neiges at 3071m), visit of the village (cover market, embroidery house, creole mansion...)

• Lunch in a creole restaurant in Cilaos. Then, road to Saint-Pierre for the visit of the museum-distillery of LA SAGA DU RHUM. During one hour, your will discover the history of Reunion island mixed with the sugar field industry. At the end of the tour a small tasting of jam and rum of Reunion will be done. Road back to your hotel at 5pm.

• Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

DAY 06 : WEST COAST

• Breakfast at your hotel. Free time.

• Breakfast and check-out of your hotel.
• Pick-up by your driver at 7am and transfer to the airport.
